Our highly interactive courses draw on insights from the fields of stress management, neuro-linguistic programming (NLP) and cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT) and have been developed to ensure staff and managers can thrive and achieve positive outcomes under the most demanding work conditions.

On our core one day programme delegates will cover:

  • The key resilience attributes, qualities and behaviours
  • Review of personal resilience qualities against the above standards
  • How to challenge negative and undermining attitudes in self and others
  • Use of the ABC approach to maintain optimism and convert challenges into opportunities
  • Maintaining a personal locus of control when faced with complex demands
  • Working collaborately with others and harnessing group resilience
  • Maintaining perspective under pressure; big versus small picture; future versus pesent
  • Letting go of the past and tolerating ambiguity
  • Achieving a balance between work and the rest of your life

Managers’ Resilience Courses

Our Managers Resilience Courses include some elements contained within our Personal Resilience courses, but in addition:

  • Problem solving using the ADAPT model
  • Resilience and effective change management
  • Developing resilient capacity in teams and staff
  • Achieving a resilient organisation via the four Ps Model - People, Processes, Plans, and Partnerships.
  • Integrating resilient approaches into mainstream management practice.
